The group is an active group with a long and proud history dating back to 1909. We have approximately 50 members aged between 6 and 18, supported by 11 leaders and 4 administrators. The group is arranged into four sections:
* The Beaver Colony for 6 to 8 year olds.
* The Cub Pack for 8 to 10 year olds.
* The Scout Troop for 10 to 14 year olds.
* The Explorer Scout Unit for 14 to 18 year olds.
The sections are run by a dedicated team of adult volunteers, who work to ensure that the young people enjoy an attractive and enjoyable programme throughout the year.
The group aims to provide a balanced programme of personal development for its members as they grow up within the group. The programme promotes the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
